MCHS : Tuition Schedule

The following information is regarding the sessions offered and the tuition fees for the 2007-2008 school year.

We also offer a limited number of 3 day exploratory programs for new 2.9 to 3 year olds, but it is to the child’s benefit to enroll him/her in a 5-day program. The tuition rate is the same as the rate for the 5 day session and the 3 days must be consecutive.

A 10% discount in tuition is offered to a second sibling enrolled simultaneously with a first child and a 5% discount is offered if tuition is paid in full by July 15th

Montessori Children’s House of Southbridge is a three year program. We accept children at 2.9 years through kindergarten age. Acceptance of a child older than 4 years of age will be at the discretion of the Program Director/Lead Teacher. Each year at MCHS builds on the previous. Each age group plays an intricate part in the classroom environment. It can be argued that the kindergarten year is the most important. It is in the kindergarten year that everything previously learned comes together. The kindergarten students can also experience leadership roles that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience.

Because the kindergarten year is so important to the student and the classroom, we are seeking to enroll families who are committed to the Montessori philosophy and intend to enroll their child in the kindergarten year. A $500 down payment for the kindergarten year must be paid prior to the beginning of the kindergarten year. This payment will be spread out through the entire tuition term and is not required to be paid in a lump sum. For example, if the child begins school two years prior to the kindergarten year, an additional $250 will be added to each years tuition rate. If the child begins school one year prior to the kindergarten year there will be $500 added to the tuition rate for that year. The $500 down payment is non-refundable will be deducted from the tuition due for the kindergarten year.
